What in life are you most sure of?

Posted on Jul 8th, 2009 by mimi : MOONCHILD mimi
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 08, 2009:

Only_don_t_know
Anything can happen to anyone anytime.
Nothing is sure
Everything changes
Look within
Look out!
We can't know enough
Only don't know
It's all ok in the end

Well, I think I do know what you're taking about! Makes perfect sense to me –

We think we know what's coming for us and that what we've planned will happen –but then life throws us something completely unexpected.

Then more we are attached to what we think should have happened, the more unhappy we are; the more we can accept what is and keep moving forward, the more we get out of where we are.

Thanks Mimi for the beautiful poetry! 8^)

Mimi, I should have quoted you in my blog!  I know for sure that I don't know anything for sure.  Sigh, I can relate all too well …

Hey Martha, thanks so much.  I followed your instructions and turned up the speakers, and I really liked the video a whole lot.  I liked the monotonous tone and then the change to minor key.  Yep, it might become my personal anthem.

thanks suni for posting something I didn't understand :P  at first, but when I looked at it sideways, it made sense and I learned something new to type.

thanks Dr. K for writing so clearly that even I could understand perfectly.  That attachment business is  hard to give up at first.  Acceptance of “what is” difficult at first - why it is necessary for growth.

thanks judi too - I am so glad you understood my post.  I am going over to read your blog piece right now.
(((hugs)) to all

Does this mean that now you DO know some stuff?  I notice you know how to make brownies!

Making brownies is from the heart and hands, not the brain or mind.  I KNOW there are brownies, I KNOW how to make them, I KNOW they are delicious. I KNOW my friends love brownies.  Other than that….I'm not sure…. ;>)

Oh Mimi! You're brilliant!

Yes! This works for me!! What we are sure of lives in the heart's brain; what's in the head's brain, we can never be sure of.

Thanks for that! Love you!

thanks Dr. K for visiting and commenting.  I 'm not brilliant – just Old – and have learned a lot along the way from everyone I've met, hey - like you for instance.
((hugs)) and lots of love!
