Help

Such a cute picture, Mimi! However, when the cows trample over the fence bordering my vegetable garden and destroy it … errrrr! Somehow it does matter every time! ;0)
thanks ayla,
for city folks, it would be an interesting adventure to have some cows nearby, doing cow things. You have a unique experience.
I got a new perspective once about birds and animals raiding my garden. I did not need to bring in the harvest a la Little House on the Prairie. I could go to the A & P. The critters couldn’t. So I let them eat at their leisure. Well, the little ones, the rabbits, squirrels, birds. Now a cow…..hmmm?
I like the quote because it is a remedy for the feelings of loss, whatever it is. When it’s gone, it’s gone.
“that’s just what happened” —that’s what I usually say.
yes, it’s a good expression, mimi. feeling better?
I am feeling better, though still coughing and feel like I have gravel in my chest. But other than that, I am feeling great. One day it will be gone, just like one day it started.
thanks for asking, N. ((hugs))
Hi Mimi ~ so glad you’re feeling better and hope that gravel goes away soon. Yes, I like that expression too … did I forget to add that? LOL ~ I got thinking about those darn cows eating a summer’s worth of hard labor and got mad at them all over again! I am blessed to have critters running around and room for a big old garden to share with them (still excepting those cows though!), aren’t I? It’s one of my favorite things in life. Thank you for the reminder.
xoxox Ayla
I like both the proverb and the picture. If it is good for the cow , it will be good for the people too. We drink the milk of the cow.
thanks so much sanmugan for adding that new dimension to the picture and proverb. Everything is much more than it appears ;>)
