Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, Nobody

There was an important job to done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that, because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up the Everyone blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have.

This post was really prompted by my weekly bingo outing with a friend. It was a the Legion Hall and was the last “chip” bingo. You used plastic bingo markers rather than dabbers.
People complained, “Why don't they get a display board and go electronic?” This would go on week after week.
One night, I asked the caller if they were ever going to get an electronic board. He said they already had one, but SOMEBODY had to go get it. Evidently, they bought a board over a year ago, but it was about 150 miles away, and NOBODY had gone to pick it up yet. “Is ANYBODY going to pick it up sometime soon? “I asked. Well, if they could find SOMEBODY with a big truck, and did I know ANYBODY?
So my friend and I would amuse ourselves each week by saying. “Well, Nobody went for the board yet. I wonder if they will ever find Anybody to go pick it up. Somebody should go get it, etc….and we would laugh every single time.
If none of the above, is it When? Maybe? Someday or Later?
I never knew bingo could be so much fun
